Every child knows tulips, but do you also know the meaning? Its name goes back from Turkish "tülbend" to Persian "dulband" and originally referred to a turban. But this is just fun info. Tulips come in many different colors. We find one of the most beautiful and well-known flowers to be the red tulip. Whoever thinks of tulips has the image of this color in front of them. Our color gradient yarn with its bright color gradient is based on this.
It is suitable for all conceivable items of clothing such as sweaters, tunics and accessories such as shawls, scarves, etc. Or maybe a bright stole with a summer dress? As always, there are at least 1001 ideas!
Due to the material composition of 50% cotton and 50% polyacrylic, the finished parts are very easy to care for, since you can put them in the washing machine at 30% and dry them only needs to be plucked into shape.
What is a small flaw with other yarns is normal with us: the small knots! Each thread is knotted by hand when the color changes and it is so small that you can easily knit or crochet over it. It is then completely invisible and does not open due to the special knot. It is best to twirl the thread around the others before and after the knot.
If you are unsure about the required amount, you can easily add a single-colored yarn. Or maybe work with a contrasting yarn? There are countless possibilities that always lead to different color combinations - but they all look good! You are welcome to be bold and try something. This leads to very special one-offs.
With 3-ply yarn, the work becomes very filigree - with more threads it gets a different character. You have to try it out as well as the needle size used to find what you like best. The best thing to do is just get started and see what comes of it. You will see: it will always be beautiful!

Was bedeutet die Lauflänge?

Die angegebene Lauflänge ist immer die Länge des fertigen Garns — unabhängig davon, für wie viele Fäden du dich entscheidest. Bei 600 m bekommst du also 600 m Garn, ob 3-fädig oder 8-fädig.

Mit der Fädigkeit ändern sich Dicke und Gewicht, nicht die Länge.
